Job Summary: Drive to and from each company facilities. Unload and load products. Hook and unhook trailers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities The following responsibilities are general duties that a particular employee in this position may or may not be required to perform. The actual duties required of this position may vary. This list is not exhaustive of all duties that the position holder may be required to perform.

  • Driving between facilities
  • Hook and unhook trailers
  • Pre-trip and Post-trip inspections
  • Safe driving practices
  • Operate heavy trucks greater than three tons (three or more axles)
  • Prioritize the trailers
  • Maintains physical security of freight to prevent shifting and damage
  • Operates auxiliary equipment mounted on truck such as winches, hydraulic hoists, etc.
  • Other duties within the department may be assigned

Education/Experience: High School Diploma preferred and/or approximately 1 or more years of experience required

p>Certificates and Licenses: Class A License Required, clean DMV record (2 or less points) and forklift certified preferably.

Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

The working environment includes working indoors and outside of company production facilities with variations in temperature, noise, humidity, and other hazards. Normal traffic hazards while operating vehicle. Ability to work around meat products with mold.

The employee must frequently sit, stand, walk, and climb. The employee is occasionally required to lift, carry and/or move 50 pounds or more, reach, bend/twist, kneel/squat, and crawl. While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly conducts repetitive motion.
